Pin Up Pickles Giveaway

The Pin Up Pickles and Craft Shop is full of Vermont artisan pickles and other canned goods, as well as fun and eco-friendly wallets, bags, and more. Owner Rachel Smith started her business four years ago and has found a market for her sweet and spicy pickles and beans. Rachel tells us: “I’m an umpteenth generation Vermonter who learned to pickle and sew from her family.  I grow all of my own veggies for the pickles I make so I know exactly how they are raised and treated.  I don’t use
pesticides or commercial fertilizer and they’re grown in a local community garden.”

Marion’s Best B&Bs are named for Rachel’s late grandmother who was the creator of this secret family recipe. Rachel sent me two jars of pickles. One was put out at our annual corn roast party with friends where they were enjoyed by everyone, and mostly by my husband who finished the whole jar that night. Now that’s a good sign! I gave the other jar to my friend Loralyn. Here is her review: “Pin Up Pickles… so delicious!  They are tangy, snappy and flavorful.  I loved all the fresh pickling spices right in the jar.”

Crunchy, spicy, flavor packed, VERMONT grown Dilly Beans. Loralyn was happy to help review these as well! “I haven’t had dilly beans in a long time, and by far, these are as good as they get.  I had a BBQa few weeks ago and put the pickles and dilly beans out and folks just raved about them.  Everyone found the fresh and local ingredients so Yummy!!!”

My friend Emily also took home a jar of Rachel’s Dilly Beans and writes: “I really enjoyed the dilly beans they were crisp and spicy.  Delicious right out of the jar for a fun snack.”
