Berry Carroll from Waitsfield, VT started her business, Moxie’s Closet, to fulfill a need for well made and perfectly fitting clothing. She was surprised by her own creativity and was soon ready to expand her product line and share it with the public.
Visit Moxie’s Closet to see the full variety of products that Berry makes. I love her fabric choices. They range from bold and classic (chevrons) to whimsical and fun (elephants). When I first visited Berry’s site I could see myself carrying any of the bags that she makes. Each would make a wonderful gift too. Check out Berry’s line of diaper bags.
Berry sent me a few bags and I thought that I should take each on a special adventure.
This chevron cosmetic zippered pouch traveled to King Arthur Flour with us. Inside I easily fit my ID, money, cell phone and keys. The canvas material is durable and the chevron pattern is very “now”.
My family traveled to Shelburne Museum and brought along this padded Ipad case, which in fact has many uses. I later gave the bag to a friend and this is what she had to say about it: “That orange bag is great! It has a cool pattern and style which makes it perfect for carrying (i.e. hiding) a few emergency diapers in my own bag when we’re out doing errands. I love the quality of the fabric – it is very soft and natural and feels very well made.”
You know where these pictures were taken, right?? That’s right… Church St, Burlington. This statue only wore my bag for a few minutes… I wear this bag everyday and have for weeks! I love it. Inside the bag is a small zippered compartment and the bag has a snap closure. The shoulder strap is adjustable. This bag comes in five different colors… one for each season, or one for each weekday. This is my everyday, packed with everything bag.
