The Teeny Tiny Spice Company is back to host another giveaway for Try Vermont First readers. Lucky you!
Last June we told you about this wonderful spice company located in Shelburne, VT. Every product from the Teeny Tiny Spice Company is non-GMO, organic, kosher, gluten free, and preservative free. Owner Thora Pomicter told us: “We hope that our spice blends bring ease and fun to people’s cooking. We are a small, family run business and we just love what we do.”
The Whoop Ass spice blend has five types of chillies: Habanero, Chipotle, Ancho, Birdseye, Cayenne, and great mix of flavors. Vermont maple sugar is combined with cumin, fennel, mustard seed and more . I love to add spicy heat to anything! I used Whoop Ass on sweet potato fries more than once. While I tend to over season things I had to remind myself to add less Whoop Ass than I wanted to. It’s hot! Be warned. But if you like to add a little fire to your meal you will like this. This would be the perfect spice blend for a big pot of chili.
We found many uses for the Tolucan Chorizo Spice. The blend of ancho chili, sweet paprika, cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, garlic (and more) add bold flavor to your meal. Our family added this to (beef) shepard’s pie, to moose meat stew, and as a dry rub for pork chops. This blend pairs well with many kinds of meats. Be creative with your spices!
You should know that The Teeny Tiny Spice Company’s Oaxacan Adobo just won a Gourmet Retailer Editor’s Pick Award for Best New Product of 2013. Congrats to them! Keep up the great work.
The winners of this giveaway are briana.m@, keribrown@, ben.m@. Congratulations! Check your email.
