Vermont’s Owl Energy Bars

This giveaway is now over. Please enjoy reading our reviews!

My hope is that after reading this post about OWL Energy Bars you will ask for them at every store you go to. OWL stands for original, wholesome and local. Perfect!

Here are some important facts from Owl Energy Bar creator Allison Wright: “This gluten free product is locally made in Brattleboro, VT. We exclusively use certified gluten free and non-GMO ingredients in our bars. You will also notice that this bar is dairy free and cholesterol free. The OWL Energy Bar is made with ingredients specifically chosen to support and sustain your health and energy levels naturally with no artificial additives or fillers. Additionally, this one-of-a-kind product provides protein, antioxidants, heart health ,Vitamins A, E, C, and D, and trace minerals necessary for cell development.”

The OWL Energy Bar is very soft and chewy. It holds its shape and is not at all crumbly or chalky. Each bite tastes a bit different. Allison uses pure raw Vermont honey from Benson, VT and smooth, rich dark chocolate chips. Both add a bit of sweetness to the OWL Energy Bar. The dried cranberries offer a bit of tartness. Dried apricots and raisins offer chewiness to offset the crunch from the sunflower seeds and almonds.

I enjoyed my OWL Energy Bar very (very very very) much. Allison sent me three bars and I had every intent to let my husband and four year old each try one as well, but that did not happen. They did try a bite and they agreed that OWL Energy Bar stand well above most other bars.

Allison is happy to host a giveaway for Try Vermont First readers. See details below on how to enter this giveaway! Good luck!
