We are Jammin with Jamtastic Jams!

This giveaway is now over. Please enjoy reading our reviews!

I have never gone through jam as fast as I have with Jamtastic Jam from Rupert, VT.

We can all thank Ross Warren’s sister Lisa for encouraging him to share his delicious jam with us. Ross had been giving away his jams for years before he hopped in his car, drove his jam around the state and came home with orders for over 140 more jars.

Ross prides himself on making his jam in small batches. He told us “when you start doing BIG batch anything, the quality suffers and the tastes is never the same as something produced in a small batch, just like what you might make in your own kitchen”. We agree and appreciate Ross’s commitment to quality ingredients (and local ingredients when in season).  Ross makes his jams in copper pots and tell us why: “Copper is the best conductor of heat. I can bring my fruit mixture to temperature very quickly, thereby maintaining all the nutritional values without boiling it all off. Again, it’s all about the quality of the finished product. I will settle for nothing but the best.”

We were lucky enough to get a big box of jam from Ross. He sent us Raspberry Maple Jam, Christmas Jam, Strawberry Balsamic Jam, and Hot 4 Habanero Strawberry Jam. It’s hard to choose a favorite!

I opened the jar of Christmas Jam and said “Whoa, that IS Christmas!”. My 4 year old agreed (??). Filled with cranberries, strawberries, vanilla and aromatic spices such as cinnamon and nutmeg, this jam is heartwarming. I love it when food brings back happy memories and this jam makes me think of happy Christmas parties with lots of family and friends. This is my son’s favorite jam, so he insisted that we share it with Nonna, who agrees, it’s something special.

We brought the Hot 4 Habanero Strawberry Jam to a party with friends and put it out with pretzels. The sweetness of this jam, offset by the deep heat makes it… well… Jamtastic! I look forward to using this jam as a glaze for grilled chicken over rice. What a yummy dinner.

Our Raspberry Maple Jam went fast. It was our go-to jam every morning. We had many red faced sticky hand mornings thanks to this jam. The tart raspberry blends well with the sweet maple. This jam is a nice addition to anything you have for breakfast… toast, muffins, yogurt or oatmeal. This jam is Ross’s all time best seller. One bite and you’ll know why.

Ross’s Strawberry Balsamic Jam has been reserved for Mommy only. It’s amazing. It’s grown up strawberry jam (although my two kids love it too).  The freshness of the strawberries mixed with he richness of the aged balsamic is a wonderful pairing. I like it best with salty crackers or pretzels. Use this jam to make a dressing for your salad and you will want salad everyday.

I love jam and I am happy to introduce you to Jamtastic Jams, which could also be called Jamtabulous, Jamerrific, and Jamonderful! See all of awesome jam flavors here and find them at Healthy Living in Burlington. Ross would like you to try his jams too! Enter below to be on of five jam winners! Thanks Ross!

  2. I would have to go for the Strawberry Balsamic. My favorite ever dessert was strawberries and a balsamic vinegar reduction with pepper corns over vanilla ice cream. Might sound odd, but it was the best thing ever. The Hot 4 Habanero Strawberry would come in a HOT second.

  6. I would love to try the Christmas jam, sounds sooo yummy! Although…the strawberry habanero would be awesome on cream cheese with crackers…….no, I need to try the Christmas one. If my friend Colleen says it’s yummy, it’s yummy!!!!

    • I especially like the Strawberry Balsamic Jam on a turkey sandwich, with a little mayo, it’s awesome! Or, for a real breakfast treat, try it in your morning yogurt! Jamtastic…it’s NOT just for toast!

  7. Mmmmm. Looks like you can’t go wrong with any of the flavors, but I am especially curious about the Christmas Jam for its taste AND the memories!

    • Kelly, the Christmas Jam really is Christmas In A Jar! Try this as a nice appy with friends and family…take a frozen puff pastry, drop in a quarter chunk of brie, add a dollop or two of this jam (or my Hot 4 Habanero Strawberry Jam!), fold in the corners and bake in a 350 degree oven for 12-15 mins. The cheese and jam will all meld together…then take it out of the oven, grab it carefully and run! Cause, if you don’t, there won’t be any left for you! It’s that good!

      Jamtastic…it’s NOT just for toast!

  8. they all sound so good but the Strawberry Balsamic Jam sticks out to me sounds different!! i would love to try it!! Our beautiful state has so many talented people!! 😉 hope ill get the opportunity to try it thank you!!
