This week we had a fun time visiting the 1782 Settlement Farm on Rte 2 in Middlesex. Once greeted by their friendly dog Draco we found fresh produce overflowing in bins and crates! Local blueberries, Amish peaches, early corn and more. They also carry bakery goods – we picked up croissants from La Strada and enjoyed them for lunch.
Visiting the Settlement Farm is much more than stopping for produce. My children love chasing the dog, peeking on the farmers in the fields, throwing grass to the pigs (sorry!), and asking a million questions about what they see (and what they want to taste). I encourage you to visit the farm for yourself!
Enjoy the pictures!
PS: The rest of the day my son was singing “Draco Draco Bo Draco……” 🙂
